Just Opened: White Brick Kitchen
Not surprisingly, the newly opened White Brick Kitchen at 641 Bloor Street West is situated in a white brick building. Serving up American comfort food classics – like pork n’ pickles, deviled eggs, fried chicken, and meatloaf – White Brick Kitchen is bringing a slice of down-home North American goodness to Little Korea.

Just Opened: Porsche Design
Lovers of all things sleek and sophisticated rejoice: Porsche Design House has opened its first Canadian outpost at 77 Bloor Street West. While you won’t find the luxury cars being stocked in the 1,600 sq. ft. showroom, a plethora of lifestyle items from the design team is on display for purchase, from shoes to denim to sunglasses and watches.

Just Opened: Feel Good Guru
A new vegan take-out restaurant – or as their tag goes “hyper-local, super-awesome, organic, plant-powered food” – has opened up at 917 Queen Street West. Feel Good Guru is serving up food that, well, makes you feel good, like their Make Kale Not War salad and Bangkok Doc noodles made of kelp and zucchini. Stop on by and order up some healthy gourmet comfort eats.

8th Annual Salsa on St. Clair
The stretch of St. Clair West from Winona Drive to Christie Avenue is transformed into a showcase of Latin life featuring live music, dance lessons, fiery foods and family fun this Saturday and Sunday. The 8th Annual Salsa on St. Clair is a vibrant street party that sees a real explosion of Latin culture for the masses to enjoy and imbue some heat into the weekend.

Boys’ Night Out
Sorry ladies, this one’s just for the gents. Lifford Wine’s annual Boys’ Night Out event takes over Evergreen Brick Works (550 Bayview Avenue) on July 12th for an evening of all things ‘dude’: hot cars, boats, golf, fine wine, steaks, live entertainment, oysters, motorcycles, music, fashion, bbq, auctions and so much more. All proceeds from this must-attend event benefit Prostate Cancer Research.

Locals Only Festival
On Saturday at Amsterdam Brewery (21 Bathurst Street), Tag Vodka presents Locals Only: Festival of Food, Music, and Art. Over 15 of the city’s best bands and DJs will be performing live as 10 sensational food vendors like Hogtown Smoke and Gourmet B1tches serve up delicious grub while artists showcase their beautiful works. And, of course, you’ll be able to grab a cold one while enjoying the fest.
