International Women’s Day

Canadian Stage Theatre Ball

The Canadian Stage 2014 Theatre Ball gala fundraiser, Shatter, will be a glamorous evening of drinking and dancing (surprise, surprise). But don’t worry, if you’ve got two left feet there will also be plenty of eating and entertainment at the event. You’ll be mingling with over 400 prominent guests including senior execs from some of Canada’s major corporations. Amanda Lang will be hosting so maybe you could even work in an exchange with her…

Toronto
Date: March 6
Location: GTA

This great city of ours is turning 180 years young! That’s right, it’s been nearly two centuries since we decided to ditch York and rename ourselves Toronto. There will be lots of events going on to celebrate the occasion including a semi-formal cocktail affair hosted by Happy Birthday Toronto held at the historic John St. Roundhouse. We’re a world-class city – so let’s show everyone what a world-class party looks like.

Imagine Dragons
Date: March 4
Location: ACC

Billboard named these guys ‘The Breakthrough Band of 2013’ while Rolling Stone named their single Radioactive ‘the biggest rock hit of the year.’ So yeah, Imagine Dragons – so hot right now. Fresh off a Grammy for ‘best rock performance’ and an appearance on SNL, we’re pretty sure these guys will put on a show to remember. This is your chance to see a band at the beginning of a long rise – welcome to the new age.
