Just Opened: The One Restaurant
At 895 Yonge Street you’ll find the newly opened The One Restaurant. This Canadian/Asian fusion restaurant boasts gourmet sensibilities for a grab-and-go. Their lunches specials are cheap and cheerful, they only organic vegetables, and their burgers are house-made lean and green. Check out their omelettes and bennys at brunch time.

Toronto’s Hottest Bartender Finale
This charity endeavour follows hot on the heels of last year’s Toronto’s Hottest Chef. Bartenders from the city’s best bars have been voted on for the past couple weeks, whittling it down to the five hottest in Toronto. On Feb 25 at the Drake Hotel (1150 Queen Street West), the final showdown sees each ‘tender serving up an original cocktail creation to guests before Toronto’s Hottest Bartender is named.

Feb 24: A Night at the Oscars at Eglinton Grand
While the Academy Awards may be the hottest ticket in Hollywood this Sunday, in Toronto it’s A Night at the Oscars at the Eglinton Grand (400 Eglinton Ave. W.) in support of the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.
