Just Opened: The Oxley
At 121 Yorkville Avenue sits the just opened The Oxley, from the same owners as our favourite The Queen and Beaver. Featuring classic English cuisine – Scotch Eggs, anyone? – a beautiful patio in front of the building’s bright red brick exterior, and some excellent beers and liqueurs, The Oxley is a welcome addition to the Yorkville neighbourhood.

Just Opened: SPIRITHOUSE
SPIRITHOUSE opened quietly last week at 487 Adelaide Street W (at Portland), bringing a fantasmical menu of exquisite cocktails to the after-work crowd. The space is a mix of speakeasy chic and sophisticated elegance. The small menu is styled to pair with the cocktails, not the other way round, and includes some superb share plates to complete your evening.

Just Opened: The Chickery
Celebrity Chef David Adjey’s latest restaurant, at 130 Spadina Avenue, is all about chicken. No…really. It’s an awesome new spot to grab, er, pluck a quick and delicious meal that’s decidedly notable.
