A sleek and industrial yet cozy space where Bar One once stood, URSA Restaurant is serving up Canadian cuisine with a twist: the dishes are prepped using techniques to maintain as much nutritional value as possible. Now Open: Gusto 101
From the owner of Cafe Nervosa in Yorkville comes Gusto 101, situated in a converted auto body shop; well-known designer Alessandro Munge helmed the stylish look. It’s bold Italian in the kitchen, and the resto boasts a basement winery, so watch your Malbec pour out of a tap at the bar. Coming soon, Gusto’s 90-seat rooftop patio. It’s at 101 Portland Street.

Grape to Glass (February 23rd)
The Women’s College Hospital’s 3rd Annual Grape to Glass event takes over the Distillery District’s Fermenting Cellar on the 23rd.
