Fluid Festival: Sept 28 – Oct 21
A celebration of movement arts, this festival engages audiences and artists, merging genres. Overflowing with dazzling performances by provocative movement artists from local, national and international artists, it presents outstanding physical performance to Calgary audiences. Join them for the best in contemporary dance and physical performance.

We Should Know Each Other: Sept 29 -30
A crossroad of communities, Calgarians are invited to stretch the limits of their social circles and enhance their thinking with a diversity of new ideas and perspectives at the 100th edition of ‘We Should Know Each Other’. Taking place at King Edward School (1720 30 Ave SW), the weekend will feature dozens of participating groups, introducing a vibrant range of activities including live music, local history, pop-up stores, robotic furniture, poetry, politics, slow dances, workshops, food trucks, civic engagement and much more.

Calgary Italian Festival: Sept 28 -29
The Calgary Italian Club (CIC) is celebrating its 60th anniversary with Festa Italiana. Head to the Calgary Italian Club (416 1 Ave NE) to learn all about Italian culture as you enjoy food, drink, entertainment and culture with a distinct Italian flair.  

Doors Open YYC Naked: Sept 29 – 30
This city-wide event invites people to see and experience aspects of buildings and spaces that have never been shared before. For two days only, you can access (free of charge) 35 premier sites for exclusive tours, events and insider information sessions. Get to know Calgary in a way that’s never been possible before. 

Harvest Moon Tweed Ride: Sept 28
Focused on fun and a casual paced ride, Full Moon rides bring Calgarians together to meander around Calgary’s pathway networks on bicycles. Come make new friends as you ride the paths dressed in your finest tweed. Following the ride, spend time with fellow riders in Edworthy Park as you enjoy high tea and cookies and a croquet mini-tournament, followed by the traditional BBQ/firepit party. 

Alberta Culture Days: Sept 28 – 30
Recognizing the value of Alberta’s arts and cultural communities, this three-day province-wide celebration raises awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Albertans in the arts and cultural life of our communities. Showcasing arts, multicultural, heritage and nonprofit/voluntary organizations, creative industries and individual artists, it will take over Calgary with nearly 450 events happening throughout the city.
