Current Swell with Guests
Long Time Ago is Current Swell’s new album and they’re coming to Calgary on October 3rd. The Victoria band’s latest album is a mix of upbeat folk and roots rock. The latest album takes inspiration from friends, acquaintances and sometimes strangers the band has met in their travels. Current Swell was the winner of the 2011 Vancouver Peak Performance Project and the momentum of the group only continues to grow. These guys have played with the Tragically Hip, K-OS, Xavier Rudd and K’naan. The band is playing at the Republik Night Club, which is one of the best music venues in town.

BOEING BOEING
The Pumphouse Theatre brings you Boeing Boeing, a hilarious comedy about a popular bachelor named Bernard who finds himself in a rather precarious situation when he realizes that he is headed to the same destination as all three of his fiancés. The audience will be delighted with all the chaos and mishaps that ensue as Bernard struggles to keep on top of the situation. Yikes! Show run from October 4th to October 12th at 7:30pm with matinees at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students/seniors. For tickets, call 403-246-2999.
