Rock of Ages –The Musical: October 23 – 28
Were you a child of the 80s? Channeling every totally rad ’80s cliché in the book, Rock of Ages is a musical that is superfluous silliness at its best. Take a seat at the Jubilee Auditorium (1415 14 Ave NW) and dive into a living, breathing music video. Riding high on nostalgia and hairspray, the live band on stage and playlist of karaoke-friendly classics encourage plenty of audience participation.

Alberta Ballet –Othello: October 18 to 20
Experience this epic production choreographed by Kirk Peterson. Taking the stage at the Jubilee Auditorium (1415 14 Ave NW), this production builds on its namesake Shakespearean tragedy of love, jealousy, deceit, revenge and murder. With lavish sets and exotic costumes inspired by the vibrant colours of Africa, enjoy the pairing of Peterson’s highly theatrical and athletic choreography with the music of five-time Academy Award-winning composer Jerry Goldsmith. The rich layers of intent and desire guarantee an unforgettable evening.
