The Big Top is set up at the Stampede Grounds, and the circus costumes are finished. The Cirque du Soleil’s latest tour through Calgary is on now and brings a mysterious island governed by Goddesses and guided by the cycles of the moon. A love story weaves the tale with trust, faith and harmony as key themes. Dress in your best circus chic, and wonder at the human feats possible from the Icarian Games to the Teeterboard. We may not all be able to master the Chinese Pole, but we can all wonder at the imagination of Guy Laliberté.
