Womentum presents “Finding Kind”

Catch a screening of the documentary “Finding Kind” at Burnswest Theatre, Fort Calgary (?750 9 Ave SE). This show exposes what is really going on within the “girl world.” Watch two girls pack their bags and travel across America in a mini-van with both their mothers to interview hundreds of females around the country. The screening will be followed with a panel discussion that includes Dana Kerford, founder/teacher at GirlPower. 

Calgary Boat and Sport Show

If you enjoy all things related to an outdoor lifestyle, then the Calgary Boat and Sport Show at BMO Centre (Stampede Park) is for you. If it floats or is somehow related to fun on the water, it will be found at this show. It will feature boats of every size and description, boat trailers, ski ropes, wakeboards, tubes, personal flotation devices and more from hundreds of exhibitors and retailers.

Friends in Motion – Between Friends

Between Friends will host the 20th Annual Friends in Motion event Saturday. This team-based event will give participants the opportunity to raise pledges and walk, skate or wheel around the Olympic Oval – every lap translates into an unforgettable summer experience for a person with a disability.
