National Geographic
On March 3rd and 4th you have the amazing opportunity to hear the wild, outlandish and true stories of Joel Sartore. This National Geographic photographer has seen it all. He’s survived ear infections from deadly parasites, lived to tell the tale of being charged by an angry mother Grizzly, and snapped photos of just about every endangered species you’ve ever seen or heard about. You’ll fall in love with his adventurous tales and exceptional photographs of wild animals. All the fun begins at 7pm at the EPCOR Centre. For tickets call 403-294-9494.

Major Barbara
This is a play that explores the harsh reality of war and poverty. When a young woman named Major Barbara reconnects with her estranged father, the two don’t exactly see eye to eye on most topics. Barbara, being employed by the Salvation Army, has a few things to say about her father’s dealings as a weapons manufacturer. Gretchen Hall and Dean Paul Gibson deliver excellent performances. The show runs until March 9th at Theatre Calgary

On Tuesday, March 4th you’ll be delighted to sample an exciting selection of wine from a variety of producers.
