The Hoxton
The fellas behind the Parkdale hotspot Parts & Labour have teamed up with comedian Kenny Hotz to bring us The Hoxton, a new music and entertainment venue at the foot of Bathurst Street. The space will house live bands and top-notch DJs, with a stellar bottle service area and digital art on the crisp white walls. The Hoxton opens tomorrow night with a set by The Twelves. 69 Bathurst Street.

Bohemian Gastropub
Paul Boehmer has created a following in Toronto thanks to his superb spot Boehmer on Ossington. Now the restaurateur branches out with the Bohemian Gastropub. The Alsatian-inspired menu designed by chef de cuisine Christopher Scott mixes everything from fried pigs ears to currywurst. We’re definitely ready for a pint and some spaetzle poutine. 571 Queen Street West.

Taste of the Danforth
The Greek-fest is back and ready to serve up some of the Danforth’s finest Hellenic bites. This street fest attracts over a million people every year, so prepare to do some major crowd weaving. Cirque du Soleil’s TOTEM
Opening August 10th, Cirque’s latest show has been making waves among critics and showgoers alike. Somewhere between science and legend, TOTEM explores the ties that bind humankind to other species, our dreams, and our infinite potential. The Booty Bash is in support of the Don McQuaig Foundation, which raises funds to support colon cancer screening and prevention.
