1. Unlocking Us
This podcast.
At this point, I’m not sure who isn’t obsessed with Brené Brown but this podcast will do the trick. I’ll always have a couple of episodes saved on my phone because you can trust that no matter what, you’ll get some value from the conversations Brené has with her guests.
In each episode, Brené sits down with a notable guest to have the rawest, most authentic, and most vulnerable conversation. I’m always so captivated by the way Brené and her guests speak. Sometimes I’ll be laughing during an episode, tearing up, or having life-pondering moments. Either way, this podcast will make you feel things.
2. Underunderstood
Someone recently shared this podcast with me and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since.
What do you do when you have a burning question that you need answers to? Typically, you Google it. But what happens when the internet doesn’t have the answer you need?
That’s where Underunderstood comes in. Each episode of the podcast focuses on a journey to answer questions that the internet can’t seem to answer. Whether it’s a dead-end Wiki page or an abandoned Reddit Thread, Underunderstood is on a mission to get you answers in an interesting documentary, journalist, and chat-show format.
3. Dead Eyes
I often heard people mention Dead Eyes but I never looked into it nor knew what it was about. Recently, a friend told me they’ve fallen in love with Dead Eyes so I thought I’d give it a chance. And the verdict?
It’s absolutely hilarious and not at all what I expected it to be about.
Hosted by Actor and Comedian, Connor Ratliff, Dead Eyes is on a very focused and specific mission to uncover a mystery that has haunted him for decades… why Tom Hanks fired him from a small role in the 2001 HBO series, Band Of Brothers.
Yep, that’s literally what the podcast is about.
4. At The End Of The Day
At The End Of The Day is a newer podcast, which just launched in April of 2022.
Hosted by journalist Hannah Sung, the podcast is here for anyone that may feel a little overwhelmed with life or the state of the world (because who isn’t). The podcast’s goal is to help shift your perspective to keep the greater good on top of the mind.
Each week, Hannah speaks with friends to hear their stories, experiences, and professional expertise. The podcast does a great job at making it feel like you’re sitting down with some friends and having uplifting life chats. I highly recommend checking out this show.
5. Postlight Podcast
For all of you in the tech, business, or leadership sector, Postlight Podcast should immediately be added to your podcast list.
The podcast is hosted by Gina Trapani and Chris LoSacco, two industry veterans that chat with their friends and team about tech, business, and leadership.
