Fall fashion has always been my favourite. Like many girls, the thought of chunky sweaters, layered scarves and new boots makes the dropping temperatures a bit more bearable.
When we were asked to host a Notable First Look shopping party for H&M Fall Collection, I was thrilled, this was right in my wheelhouse!
The concept for the H&M Fall A/W 2017 collection was ‘mix up, look sharp’, meaning a mix of fabrics and prints with a focus on celebrating difference. We are living in a world with endless possibilities, and freedom of expression in clothing is both encouraged and celebrated. Bold colours, patterns and prints litter the store, and my eyes just couldn’t focus where to look first.
In conjunction with their fall collection, H&M had also launched their collaboration with ‘Rethink Breast Cancer’. This t-shirt campaign is available for the month of October as it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 100% of the proceeds going to 8008135, a hotline campaign developed to dispel myths and misconceptions about Breast Cancer.
The First Look event was held at H&M’s flagship store in the Toronto Eaton Centre. Attendees were treated to sushi, freshly spun cotton candy, mocktails and prosecco gummies. Our resident DJ, DJ Lo spun top 40 tunes and shoppers were able to mingle and browse the shop while munching on treats. Fall, (and fall weather) is finally here and H&M is stocked with key items to complete your wardrobe.
