NINI Meatball House to Open This Month in Griffintown

1752 rue Notre Dame Ouest.

You may have biked or driven by a bright new white space with the sign NINI’s on the outside and wondered what it’s all about.

The answer is simple: meatballs.

Saucy and slow-cooked, just like grandma would make ‘em, these little balls of joy are ready to get served to you this month.

The goal of NINI Meatball House is to give a new dimension to a meatball restaurant through creative and seasonal dishes using various forms and ingredients.

The concept of ordering is pretty great. First, choose a meatball from a list composed of 15 different recipes and daily specials, using meat, fish, seafood, cheese, and vegetables.

Then choose a sauce – from mild to spicy – and lastly, select your plate with side dishes that include salads, roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, risotto, pasta, and more to give the option to mix and match and/or share with friends.

Three meatballs come in each order, which makes it easy to try out a bunch of options.

For the healthier foodies out there, vegetarian, gluten free, and pork-free options will also be available. The menu is pretty much ideal for any type of situation including short lunch breaks, bites, after work drinks, and dinner time.

The space itself will be surrounded by white-painted brick, a white marble counter, and white wood details.

Simple, clean and cool. While this first location will act as the flagship, NINI Meatball House is already looking to the future in hopes of becoming a franchise.

It’s time to get ballsy, Montreal.
