The third season of Canada’s Top Chef aired Monday, March 18, and with it viewers were introduced to three Calgary chefs competing for top spot.
One of these contestants is Nicole Gomes, Chef and Owner of Nicole Gourmet Catering, who hosted an evening of food and fun along with a special screening of the first episode.
Held at RedPoint Media & Marketing Solutions, the room was filled with friends, family, clients, supporters and the city’s who’s who, many of them wearing the ‘Team Nicole’ pins with honour.
Throughout the evening guests were treated to delicious canapés created by Nicole and her culinary team. At one point, Nicole spoke to attendees sharing her excitement about being a competitor, as well as her appreciation for the support from those in the room.
There were also some special, furry four-legged friends in the room as the event was also in support of the Alberta Guide Dog Services – an organization that Nicole supports.
