Elevator Pitch: Describe your job in a nutshell.
I’m a visual artist. I draw and paint on various surfaces, currently exploring ink on Plexiglas.

Why did you start working at your company? What was the inspiration for this career route?
I’ve always pursued art as a hobby but never fully committed myself to it. This is me committing, and I’ve never been happier.

The inspiration was a passion for the artistic process – creating, viewing, connecting. The freedom to make decisions. Loving what I do on a daily basis.

What is the best part of what you do on a day-to-day basis? The most challenging part?
The best part is being able to see an idea through from inception to completion. To create something from nothing. It’s like any business plan, product development, etc – this just comes in the form of a piece of art. Experimenting and making mistakes – they can lead to wonderful things and places.

The most challenging part: deadlines!

Where do you see yourself in five years?
Showing and selling internationally, collaborating with designers/fashion labels/other artists.

What does success look like to you?
Doing what you love, being happy doing it, and ultimately financial success as a result.

What is the most memorable milestone in your career?
Thus far? My first solo art show that takes place on September 27th, from 7 – 10pm, at The Gladstone Hotel!

Do you have any advice for other young professionals?
Pursue your passions. Work hard. Be resilient. Be kind. Find what inspires you, inspire others. Think creatively – there’s always an answer and a way.
