New Restaurant Hà to Open in Montreal’s Former Souvenirs d’Indochine Space

And more culinary news: New owners Nicolas Urli (Flyjin, Velvet), Francisco Randez (ex-Porte Rouge, Canal Évasion, Rythme Fm, TVA) and Flore-Anne Ducharme (Les Évadés advertising agency) are taking over the prime location that formerly housed Souvenirs d’Indochine, situated just across from Parc Jean-Mance in the Plateau.

Hà Restaurant’s concept focuses on the vibrant Vietnamese concept of BIA HOI, simple street corner restaurants that are lively and friendly places where foodies drink freshly-brewed beer and eat delicious street foods.

The menu is inspired by the flavours of South-East Asia and complements the restaurant’s fresh beers and carefully selected wine list created by Jessica Harnois and food by Laotian Chef Ross Ninja San (ex-Biiru and Chez Victoire).

The grand opening is planned for August, where you will have a chance to meet Mr Hà, the former owner and a well-known neighbourhoood personality, who will be there with the new chef to greet everyone to this buzzing new addition to Montreal’s ongoing and rising culinary scene.

Stay tuned for an inside look at Hà coming soon.
