New Cocktail Laboratory Launches at Vancouver’s First Micro Distillery

We’ve been fans of Yaletown-based Long Table Distillery since it opened last year.

And we proved it by frequenting G&T Fridays this past summer – so the fact they’re adding more reasons to head down for post work bevy’s and bites is sweet music to our notable ears.

Long Table Distillery is a go-to for many Vancouverites on the hunt for a unique experience when searching for locally produced and sourced artisan gin and vodka.

Which is why news that they’re launching craft cocktail nights starting this week has got us ready for a drink or three.

Long Table will be shaking things up a bit with a newly designed tasting room and cocktail laboratory with the new space officially opening on Saturday. Pop by and enjoy a menu fully loaded with handcrafted cocktails (served from 1-7pm on both Thursdays and Saturdays) with more hours soon to be added.

Long Table’s on-site chemist and bar manager, Cole Benoit (who also happens to own Vancouver’s Apothecary Bitters) is set to get creative behind the bar, blending an abundance of cocktails from the handcrafted, small batch spirits.

A self confessed mixologist and spirits geek, Benoit uses only locally sourced ingredients, botanicals, small batch syrups, and handcrafted bitters to fix up his fancy drinks.

To complement it all, kick back and relax in the distillery’s revamped space that features more casual seating and a lively atmosphere. Nosh on bar snacks and use the time to relax after a hectic day – or gear up for a night out.

We’re thinking that given Long Table’s close proximity to central Yaletown, neither will be a problem.
