Must Try: Slider Revolution

Ramen’s hot right now in town. (Well, you can’t find a restaurant called Noodle Bar opened by David Chang himself and not expect rivals to start popping up left, right, and center.) But are sliders the next big wave…?

Slider Revolution started its revolt just a few weeks ago on the Danforth. It’s a more grab and go style of spot than, say, Two Bite Saloon, but it’s got just as much tiny heart. Featuring a very Toronto style interior – we get it, Torontonians love their rustic meets industrial meets white-washed aesthetic – Slider Revolution lets the little bites speak for themselves.

The menu sees traditional style sliders – from meatball to BBQ chicken – partnered alongside some interesting creations – like the Three Cheese with brie, cheddar, and asiago, or the Crab Cake with house-made aioli. Try a few and mix and match, because there’s an abundance of small bites to be had.

Brunch features similarly interesting takes on sliders, from the Breakfast to the Shrimp and Lobster, but you’ll also find favourites like pancakes, waffles, eggs Benny, and more.
