They have a casual atmosphere without losing any of the quality flavour associated with their food. The set-up is cafeteria-style and the tables are an extension of this. Warm wooden tables are surrounded by bright orange chairs, a free one being quite the challenge to find on most days. You choose where you want to sit and then place your order at the counter after a decision has been reached. There are also servers who are more than happy to replenish any drink, and with glasses of wine very moderately priced, there is no reason to not enjoy a glass or two with your pie.
It is evident through their menu prices and promotions that Famoso caters to young professionals. Vino Wednesday’s are great way to celebrate mid-week, whatever the occasion may be. Free wine tastings, and a feature on different wines from their list, are just some old-fashioned Italian hospitality. But the generosity doesn’t stop there. They offer free bruschetta with any wine purchase between 6pm and 8:30pm. We think this is perfect for those Wednesdays when you just need to let your hair down and enjoy some time with friends.
