Must Try: Clive Burger

We all know that from time to time there is nothing more satisfying than a well-made burger. For those in search of this traditional American delicacy there’s no need to look any further than Clive Burger. Recently opened on 17 Ave. (736 17 Ave SW), this Concorde Group establishment is already busy satisfying the hunger of many of the city’s YPs – it’s not unusual to see a line-up out the door during peak hours.

The menu is seriously simple: you choose the number of patties (the beef comes from Spring Creek Ranch cattle, so you know that it is antibiotic-free) and your fixins, which include everything from cheese to ‘Clive Sauce’ and sauerkraut. For those with dietary restrictions, they do offer vegetarian and gluten-free options.

If you are feeling so inclined you can also indulge on fries and their custard milkshakes.  Looking for something a little stronger? Clive Burger is licensed, so they offer wine as well as several bottled and draft beer options that you can pair with your meal.

Not only are they dedicated to ensuring that the ingredients are high quality, Clive Burger is also committed to ensuring they do their part to minimize the environmental impact. All the packaging your meal comes with is 100 per cent compostable. How can you not feel good knowing that?

The space is bright, cheerful and inviting, making it a great spot to sit and enjoy your meal with friends. Sit at one of the tables, or at the counter and watch the staff behind preparing the delicious burgers. You’ll definitely be seeing us here often.
