We checked the forecast and, damn, it’s looking hot this Saturday! Come celebrate one last time before school starts and summer ends as Saint-Laurent Boulevard will be closed to traffic for Mix’Arts, where 200 independent stores will be offering exceptional deals to shopaholics and a plethora of artists and musicians will be performing along a 2-kilometre stretch.
So what did we decide to do to celebrate this awesome block party? Throw an epic summer brunch party with our friends at SuWu and Saintwoods again, since our last collab with them was amazing.
Since the sun will be shining hard, the terrasse will be going off with a full bar outside alongside a BBQ cookout with a menu featuring beef burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, grilled corn on the cob, and oysters.
If the heat is too much to handle, the inside (and outside) will be serving up a menu of grandiose proportions with dishes like baked egg on avocado, breakfast nachos with scrambled eggs, salsa, beans and sour cream, angel cake pancakes with homemade creme fraiche and fresh strawberries, some wild liquor mixes with REED’s spicy Ginger Beer, bottles… and let’s not forget the winning ingredient: endless mimosas all day long!
We have our boy DJ Myfrienderic spinning beats from the early AM until brunch ends to keep you bopping or even dancing around if you wish.
The party starts at 11am this Saturday, the 24th, and goes until 5pm at 3581 St Laurent.
