Must Attend: Conversations With CEO Superstar Mitch Garber

We could all learn a thing or two from one of the top CEOs in Canada.

That’s why business tycoon, sports enthusiast, and philanthropist Mitch Garber will share his success story over a cocktail onTuesday, May 26 at 7:00pm at Holt Renfrew on Bloor for Conversations With Mitch Garber, presented by The W League of Weizmann Canada.

Weizmann Canada is part of a worldwide network of supporting organizations for the Weizmann Institute of Science, in Rehovot, Israel.
In addition to some seasoned business advice, when the event’s held at Holt Renfrew Men, you know it’s also going to involve a well-curated crowd, facilitating quality personal and professional networking.

Young news reporter Kristina Partsinevelos from Business News Network will moderate the evening.

No matter your industry, the conversation with Mitch is guaranteed to resonate with ambitious young professionals. His career experience is diverse – ranging from law, to broadcasting, and becoming the CEO of four major companies, including the largest interactive gaming company in the world.

Mitch is one of the only executives in the world to have been CEO of companies on the TSE, Nasdaq, AIM, and London Stock Exchanges.
In addition, he’s also the CEO of Las Vegas based Caesars Acquisition Company and Caesars Interactive Entertainment, managing six casino resort hotels, the World Series of Poker and the one of the world’s largest and most profitable social and mobile games businesses.

No big deal, right?

Oh, and if you’re a baseball fan, he has most recently been linked to the potential return of the Montreal Expos, and is part of the investment group that recently bought the Cirque du Soleil. Actually, he’s now Chairman of Cirque Du Soleil. Oh, and a “Dragon” on the French version of Dragons’ Den for the 2015 season on Radio Canada television.

Naturally, he’s also a philanthropist. He and his wife Anne-Marie Boucher started a fund to help a promising young scientist, Dr. Emmanuel Levy, who joined Weizmann Institute of Science in 2012 and is currently crushing it in his career today.

So, basically, he’s the kind of guy who makes you feel worse about yourself. But don’t let that intimidate you; the event is definitely going to be worth skipping the gym on a Tuesday night for.

Trust us. Skipping leg day for brain day is never a bad decision.

As an added bonus (because we’re generous like that), tickets are only $18 dollars (half-price) for Notable subcribers. To purchase tickets, visit this link

Even more generously, we want to send five Notable readers and their +1 to the event on us. So fill in the form below for a chance to win a pair of tickets and we’ll be in touch by Tuesday, May 19th to let you know if you’ve won.
