Legendary hockey player Gordie Howe died today, according to CBS Detroit.
The Canadian native, who spent time in the league over five decades, was one of the most important and influential players the NHL has ever seen.
He ended his career scoring 801 goals to go along with 1049 assists for a total of 1850 points.
With four Stanley Cup wins, six Hart Trophies, and 21 selections to the All-Star team, Howe left his mark on the league and the fans who loved it so.
