Montreal’s Diner en Blanc is Coming

What do you get when more than 5,500 attendees, all dressed in white, converge on one of the most beautiful settings in Montreal for a friendly epicurean experience? Dîner en Blanc.

The 6th edition of the highly sought-after dinner will take place on Thursday, August 14th at 7pm. For one night only, over 5,500 white-clad movers and shakers will gather in one location that will be kept secret until the day of to picnic and dance the night away under the stars.

The goal? To provide guests with the opportunity to reclaim a part of their heritage by promoting it through elegance and presence.

So here’s how it goes down if you have never experienced it before:

At exactly 7pm, a white wave of guests will flood the selected location. With the help of volunteers, guests are escorted to the spot where their table is to be set up. In a matter of 30 minutes, each attendee quickly finds their spot and the dinner can finally commence.

The waving of napkins symbolizing “site occupation” marks the beginning of the dinner.

You have the option of either ordering a meal by the official caterer of the event, Apollo, or prepare it yourself.

After dinner, sparklers are lit that signal the opening of the dance floor, which will be musically lead by the artistic direction of Nadine Ménard with flute player Aurélie Morgane creating magic with her colourful Æolia project. The percussion school Métissage will present a very special musicale experience by Luc Boivin and, shortly after, DJ ZO will take over the stage where guests will dance the evening away.
