Montreal Will Be Hosting a BBQ, Bourbon and Blues Festival This Summer

Mark June 20th and 21st down in your summer festival-filled calendars because Parc Jean-Drapeau will be hosting two days full of finger-licking deliciousness, bourbon and good ol’ blues.

And what better time to kick it all off than on the first official weekend of summer?

Throughout the weekend, the festival will offer the finest BBQ from some of our city’s top vendors including Rubs Smokehouse, Black Strap BBQ, Bofinger, Diablo’s, Anancy, Zoes, Smoked Meat Pete and more cooking up the best of the best Southern-style BBQ. To cool you down, Unique Foods Hydration Station will be in full-effect featuring Stewart’s old-fashioned, Coco’s Pure and Activate.

Did we mention you can cheer on your favourite professional BBQ team or even participate in the amateur grilling championship?

If cooking isn’t your thing but dangling in the skies chowing down on some fine BBQ dishes is, then diner in the sky needs to be on your to-do list.

And for those that need some BBQ 101, there will be plenty of workshops on-site helping you master the art of the grill.

The festival’s main stage will offer 17 acts kicking off the festivities early in the day representing some of the best local and international blues musicians around, including Jim Zeller, Brian Tyler, Jimmy James, Angel Forrest, Dawn Tyler Watson, the Triple Threat Acoustic Band, and Breen Lebeouf.

Tickets are $25, but if you want to live like a real southern VIP, you can purchase a special pass that will include the following:
