Montreal Weekender: September 19 through 22, 2013

THURSDAY
Let’s start off on a charitable note tonight; Stikeman Elliott presents Fall Fling: Sunset Edition, a festive and lavish cocktail reception that will be held on the second floor of the upscale Rosalie restaurant starting at 6:30pm. The evening’s formula will consist of a cocktail dinner with privately imported wine, open bar, silent auction and raffle prizes, with music provided by renowned DJ Truspin. Proceeds will help finance the purchase of endoscopic medical equipment for the Radio-Oncology Department at the Jewish General Hospital. Charitable fun – we love it!

The first part of the concert will be performed by Canadian artist Kay and four emerging Quebec bands of the 2013 edition of the Coca-Cola Talent Hunt. For each ticket sold to enter La Ronde, Coca-Cola will donate $5 to the Jasmin Roy Foundation, whose mission is to fight against discrimination and violence against children in schools.

Staged on and along the waterfront of Montreal’s Promenade Père-Marquette in Lachine, the Fuller Landau Cedars CanSupport ‘Rain or Shine’ Dragon Boat Race & Festival is a full day of competition and festivities.
