THURSDAY
New City Gas’ brand new concept for their Fall 5a7 launches today and is the perfect start to your weekend. The party will now be taken inside the mega space with Moet & Chandon flowing, a custom apple cider cocktail, and unparalleled ambience of sophisticated luxury! The Segal Centre is putting on another awesome production, and this time it’s all about 1930s Harlem and legendary jazzman Fats Waller in ‘Ain’t Misbehavin’, a finger-snapping and rocking musical revue that is considered to be one of Broadway’s best. Expect laughs, dancing and some amazing music starring Juno Award-winner Kim Richardson.

FRIDAY
Get ready to throw your hands up in the air! Kid Cudi, the Brooklyn-based rapper from Cleveland whose debut single “Day ‘n’ Nite” became a huge hit, will be performing at Centre Bell tonight alongside Big Sean and Logic. Known for his hype live shows, this will be a great starter to your night out with friends.

Feel like getting swanky? Let’s Bond invites you to Espace Réunion for a glamorous James Bond-inspired thematic evening where young professionals from the greater Montreal area bond around the cause of improving mental illness treatment and research. Let’s Bond is a festive cocktail soiree where champagne and oysters will be served starting at 9pm and guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres from some of Montreal’s best restaurants. Sandy Duperval, a renowned DJ and?singer, will be entertaining everyone as the tuxes and gowns take over the dance floor. 

SATURDAY
Here’s one for lovers of unique and memorable movie experiences in Montreal: The Phantom of the Opera with live musicians! Experience a spectacular masterpiece of silent horror cinema on the big screen in a stunning old gothic church with live music featuring piano and Casavant organ by Shayne Gryn, cello by Nadine Kolment, and soprano vocals by Valérie Poisson. Projecting “reel” film at the silent speed of 18 frames per second, it promises to be as outstanding as the silent horror double bill there last year, which sold out… so get there early as tickets are only at the door.

Atame, Montreal’s newest aphrodisiac restaurant (yes, you heard right), will celebrate its official grand opening tonight. They will be serving a delicious live musical performance by the incomparable Christine Ghawi (“Céline”), a titillating spoken word presentation by Quebec actress Chloe Bourgeois (“Tout est parfait,””Diego Star”), and spiced by an elegant burlesque performance by Mimi Cherry. 

SUNDAY
We hope you saved your appetite for today. Why? Little Italy and Jean-Talon Market are hosting the second edition of Montreal’s Little Italy Pizza week. This event emphasizes the relationship between the famous Italian gastronomic specialty, the pizza, and Montreal’s Little Italy. For more than a week, guests can enjoy one or more pizzas with discounts and special offers. This is an opportunity to rediscover Little Italy and taste the old and new flavours of this wonderful dish.

The critically acclaimed Blue Man Group, best known for multi-media performances that feature three bald and blue characters who take the audience on a journey that is funny, intelligent and visually stunning, are taking over Montreal. The theatrical tour features brand new content highlighted by classic Blue Man favourites while creating an entirely new, high-impact visual experience. Warning: the first few rows might get splashed.
