SATURDAY
America’s most prominent international beer festival, the Mondial de la bière, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. For this special edition, close to 100,000 beertrotters are expected at Palais des Congrès de Montreal and its exterior terrace. The Mondial de la bière is a unique festival based on learning, tasting, sharing and mingling with brewers and beer professionals.

After last year’s grand success, the Groll Street Collective, a Montreal-based entertainment collective with the purpose to expose and shine light on the city’s various bubbling sub cultures, have decided to live out the summer large and take over the terrace of l’Abreuvoir with GOOD Saturdays. With the open grill, the “bring your own meat” concept, and some refreshing summer hip-hop, nu disco, funk and soul vibes, the GOOD Saturdays events are a sure daytime party not to miss.

SUNDAY
Here comes what promises to be this week’s coolest outdoor jam! FAB BOSS premiere is proud to presents it first-ever Lobster Clam Jam. The Jam will entertain guests by offering them a platform to experience the different ways of preparing lobster and many other culinary delights. Renowned Montreal restaurants will be showcasing their unique signature dishes. There will be approximately 10 restaurants, a Mojito bar, a beer bar, a Aquahydrate station with their girls keeping your thirst quenched, a wine bar and two dessert sections on site! The event will be set up in a beautiful outdoor atmosphere near the Lachine canal just west of the Atwater Market. Enjoy the day along with special guest DJs Andy Couchman and Spade Zabriskie Point Cooley.

Another outdoor terrace is showing its spirit of summer; Matinee will be strutting its stuff on the elegant terrace at Rosalie. The last brunch was one for the books, so this is not to be missed. Coupled with fine cuisine, champagne bubbles and some sultry beats by Danny Torrence and Toddy Flores, come dressed in your brightest summer colours because the time has come to be struttin’ on the terrace – the Matinee way.
