THURSDAY
C2MTL is holding its closing night party tonight presented by Absolut. To bring the curtain down on this third edition, internationally renowned producer and founder of LCD Soundsystem James Murphy will be headlining and lighting up the dance floor as he always does. Montreal’s electropop masters Le Matos will be opening the show for him to set the stage with just the right amount of hype. The night will also feature amazing entertainment with a lively performance by the 25 musicians of Roma Carnivale and Gypsy Kumbia Orchestra, and DJ Nils Fluck, while duo Shaydakiss and A-Rock will keep the party jumping until the late hours. Tickets are going fast so get yours

Mural is hosting its 5th edition of the Chromatic festival at their headquarters on 620 St. Paul West featuring the MASSIVart Space showcasing a live production of an outdoor mural. The new JARGO Chophouse & Mixologie with its JARGO Cafe by illy at 8 Sherbrooke Ouest will open its doors to the general public tonight. Join the wonderful girls at the Urban Body Studio as they celebrate the return of spring in elegance. Discover a variety of local artists who have come to show their beautiful artwork inspired by the spring theme. The event will provide live entertainment, wine and hors d’oeuvres alongside some notable local art.

Cabaret Playhouse is hosting an epic beatbox battle for all you Rahzel-loving hip-hop heads out there. Beatboxers from the 514 are pitted against each other to wreck havoc on everyone’s eardrums. Featuring DJ Yellowshades, KenLo Craqnuques Tout’Nou and free poutine… seriously, there will be free poutine tickets given away to guests for the perfect after-hour meal. Sign us up, son.

SATURDAY
The Canadian Liver Foundation is proud to present its next culinary event, Foie-la!, which will take place during Liver Awareness Month – aka now. For each special Foie-La! dish that you order, one dollar will be donated to the Foundation to promote and support prevention, education and research programs at the CLF. In collaboration with the CookandEtc and 13 local restaurants, foodies will have the opportunity to taste a nutritious meal cooked by the best chefs in Montreal, Laval, Terrebonne and West Island. This two-festival-in-one affair, christened EM15, runs for six jam-packed days and today is your last chance to catch it.
