THURSDAY

Urban Body Studio is hosting an interactive workshop that will show you how to personalize your own nutrition needs according to your lifestyle, workout habits and food choices. This not-to-miss seminar with Dr. Patrick Owen is guaranteed to give you a new perspective on diet and exercise. Learn the tools and tricks that the professionals use to quickly achieve their fitness goals and get spring and summer ready.

It’s time to celebrate Purim, and who better to party with than the team behind YAD Montreal?  The FEDNEXT Fling is taking place at the Roxbury Montreal and is guaranteed to go into the wee hours accompanied by awesome DJs, great young professionals and a $10 cash bar (we like!) These guys know how to party but they also know how to network, so make sure not to miss this great socializing opportunity on Montreal’s most famous party strip.

FRIDAY
Getting married, want to get married or just love the wedding industry? Bride’s Night Out Canada might be your answer. Attending this untraditional show means having access to some of the wedding industry leaders who are reputable, creative and have innovative services and products. Hence, the best this city has to offer. It will be a night of pampering, cocktails and music in a posh atmosphere. What better time to meet vendors who can make your dreams come true than tonight inside the chic Place d’Armes Hotel in the Old Port? Tickets are going fast!

For something a little more serious, Old Montreal’s Centaur Theatre is hosting a production of Motherhouse. Penned by the renowned author of Balconville, this powerful drama gives a voice to the disillusioned working class women employed at the British Munitions Factory in Verdun, Quebec during World War I. A captivating look into a vital piece of Montreal’s history told through a group of fantastic artists.

SATURDAY
Time to dust off that tux, ladies and gents! CORINNE & CO are back with Tux in the City’s first anniversary, “ENCORE.” Remember the tux rule… dress code for men and women, no exceptions; no ties and no dresses! It’s a night of great music, drinks, food, people and of course fashion all inside the Galerie 203, Tux in the City’s headquarters. Proceeds from ticket sales and a silent art auction will benefit the Art for Healing Foundation.

Continuing the Purim festivities, YAD Montreal and the CSUQ Leadership Program join forces to present the Purim Masquerade Party. Celebrate the Purim festivities in style, with fun and great people! On March 15th, young adults are invited to an open bar party at the Wave ; come get carried away by the masquerade atmosphere. This party aims to raise funds for the CSUQ Leadership Program, whose mission is to identify and foster emerging young leaders and encourage participation and involvement in local, provincial and national institutions. Tickets may be purchased online or by contacting any of the hosts. Get your tickets in advance— this party is selling out quickly!

Did we mention free parking? Tickets are only $5… that’s one grande Starbucks.

And to close off the Purim celebratory marathon, we have to mention Chabad of Old Montreal’s “The Purim Games.” Come take part in an evening of athletic excellence, delicious refreshments, and the magic of Megillah. The day starts at 4pm with cocktails and games debut, a Megillah reading at 5:30pm, and a festive feast at 6pm. We can’t forget the open bar and the fact that this all takes place in one of the most stunning locations in Montreal, the St-James Theater. Games on!
