Thursday:
Thursday seems to be starting out on a very motivational note. The Segal Centre’s Young Leaders (SCYL), in collaboration with the Jewish Chamber of Commerce, have organized an intimate interview with Joey Berdugo Adler, CEO & President of Diesel Canada and Founder of ONEXONE, a non-profit initiative based in Canada and the United States with the mission to preserve a basic quality of life for children locally and globally. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet with this prolific entrepreneur and humanitarian. Old Montreal’s historic staple, the Centaur Theater, seems to be re-inventing itself with the arrival of their 44th season. This can be seen with the Beautiful City Theater Company presentation of Godspell, a revival of Stephen Schwartz’s and John-Micheal Tebelah’s masterpiece based around the recreation of the Gospel of St. Matthew. Produced by a Montreal young professional, Godspell will surely make headlines amongst theatre lovers around the city.

Friday:

Theater seems to be the talk of town this weekend, and on top of its list sits La Verità. Written and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, La Verità offers a theatrical and breathtaking journey through the life and work of iconic artist Salvador Dali. For this very special occasion, a colossal and original work by the famous Spanish painter and writer has captured a place of spotlight on stage for the first time since it was created in the 1940s. It’s a wonderful production that will awaken the artist in all of us!

 Saturday:
Curious what DJing is all about or how it’s done? Well, class is now in session, and if you have ever daydreamed about playing on the ones and twos, here is your chance to learn basic DJ etiquette with the masters of the turntable: JoJo Flores, Toddy Flores and DJ ZO at Club Peopl. Come and educate yourself about the history, the equipment, how to read the crowd, knowing when to mix and when not to and all the other basics that come with becoming the next A-Trak! NHL fans across Quebec have been cheering loud and proud for the triumphant return of hockey. Having been to a multitude of live games ourselves, we can attest that the vibe and hype in the Bell Centre is one everyone must experience. If you’d rather take a more chill route and sit with a  few of your friends over beer and some good eats, then check out the list of our favourite places to eat dinner and watch hockey around the city.
