THURSDAY
The time has come! Our last 5 à 7 of the year will be kicking off this Thursday and we would love to see you all to cheers the holiday season and have one last apres-work hurrah of 2013! Tonight, the doors of 394 Rue St. Jacques Ouest will open at 5pm sharp to the beat of your favourite classic hits, free and delicious Christmas cookies until 7pm, Kraken Rum and Eggnog Happy Hour, Hype Energy drink specials and Santa-shucking Terlecki offering a plethora of oysters to tickle your taste buds. Ugly Christmas sweaters are welcome and appreciated.

The 2nd edition of the Shopping and Pampering Extravanganza is back! Come treat yourself to hair and make up pampering with the latest Brilliance New York products while having some wine and treats from Soly Leblanc, Chez De Gaulle, Cascade Ice and more. This is taking place at 250a St-Paul East unit 202, so come with your friends and enjoy a beautiful afternoon of shopping and getting beautified. All guests will receive a parting gift from Converse, Cover me, Midtown le Sanctuaire, Hype and Nuda.

Plain Jane Homme opens up their doors today until Saturday for their annual Last Minute Warehouse Mega Sale. As worn by Jay-Z, Usher, Tiesto, and a whole slew of celebrities, make sure you go check out these local Montrealers for great deals on Men’s Apparel for yourself or for last minute gifts at 6600 St-Urbain #210. FRIDAY
Dust off those ugly Christmas sweaters, everyone, it’s time to show those eye-melting creations off! The even cooler part? There will be a karaoke machine so now you can counterpart your more than likely silly singing skills with that hideous sweater. Fun times to be had at Bar Chez Pierre for all!

Another spectacular show by Cirque Du Soleil is touching base in Montreal starting tonight. Deep within a forest, at the summit of a volcano, exists an extraordinary world – a world where something else is possible. This production pays tribute to the nomadic soul, to the spirit and art of the circus tradition, and to the infinite passion of those whose quest takes them along the path that leads to Varekai

SATURDAY
Spend all of today enjoying Old Montreal’s holiday season with a brand new event, “Montreal En Fetes,” Between 10am and 7pm. Come and be entertained with the Vibrant Weekends’ activities, which include street performers, choirs, the mistletoe road and more.

Need a little break in between? How about visiting the The Christmas Market’s shops, where you will be able to find original gifts of all kinds?

To finish the day off, make sure to try the holiday menu of Holiday Feasts’ restaurants for brunch, lunch or dinner offering dishes for every taste.

SUNDAY
Even the weather can’t stop the boys at Matinee in throwing another epic daytime party for Montreal. Today will mark their three years in the making and they will be celebrating in style at Auberge St Gabriel. With resident DJs Danny Torrence, Toddy Flores and Belvedere Vodka and Moet Chandon on board, you will never know where this party will go… but we can guarantee it will be somewhere good.

Here’s a great way to help out our community and give for the holidays. Restaurant L’Orignal is collaborating with other restaurants, bars, other businesses and people on their own in a joint effort to collect winter jackets for a non-profit organization called “Share The Warmth” in Little Burgundy.?We urge all our Notable readers to bring any winter jackets – women’s, men’s and children’s – to any of the participating places listed here. Let’s end this year on a charitable note!
