THURSDAY
It’s been a long week, so let’s party it up a little! Tokyo Bar and Swag Mtl in collaboration with DL Jones are proud to present The Jillionaire tonight. Taking a break from the Mad Decent Block Party summer tour, he will be making a quick detour to rock the dance floor at Tokyo Bar today. With over 15 years of experience, The Jillionaire has created a unique sound that mashes indie dance and big room house with the Caribbean rhythms of soca and dancehall. Guaranteed good indie times all around at this spot!

Why not inject some fashion today if an all-out party isn’t in your books? The Montreal Festival Mode & Design has a plethora of cool events happening today including a Jacob 35 years of chic runway show, the Suzy Shier runway show… heck, even Hudson Bay is having a catwalk showdown today! That and many local designers will be showcasing themselves today; check the schedule here and start planning away.

FRIDAY
Oh yeah, it’s Osheaga time baby! Now in its 8th year, Osheaga starts tonight and goes all weekend. Sold out once again, the festival will offer local and travelling music lovers an exceptional experience this year thanks to great artists, an amazing atmosphere and all the energy of Montreal during summertime. Bands this year include major names like Mumford & Sons, Macklemore, The Cure, New Order, Kendrick Lamar and so much more!

Tennis fanatics: The world famous Rogers Cup starts today and the men will be battling it out on the courts this year. This event annually brings Canada to the centre stage of international sport. Service!

SATURDAY
How about this for a floating dance party. MEG Montreal in collab with Lacoste L!ve and co-sponsored by Hype Energy drinks bring you the cherry on the dance music cake; an electronic boat cruise on the St. Lawrence River, offering a fantastic view of the city lights! Still didn’t get your dose of the gorgeous firework displays we’ve been experience for the past few weeks? Here’s your last chance. The 2013 grand finale display will feature a tribute to U2, one of the most popular bands on the planet. Panzera S.A.S. and La Ronde will bring a new dimension to U2’s top hits like “With Or Without You” and more. The audience will also have the chance to discover some hidden treasures from the U2 discography…talk about the perfect night for a date or chilling with the YP crew.

SUNDAY
Let the boats congregate! Don’t worry, even if you don’t have one, this event is a great timeout from the city. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the Rendez-vous Nautique is the only event of its kind in Quebec. An annual boat gathering takes place on a secluded section of the Oka National Park beach and is only accessible by waterway. A water shuttle will be available for the public to access the beach.?There will be games, prizes, DJs, entertainment, food and beverages are part of the festivities. Come discover boating and take some chill time in.

The ultimate Osheaga after-party is taking place tonight. Yes, we know its Sunday, but it’s damn well worth it. Virigin Mobile presents the stellar Hot Chip! Five albums into their careers, the detail-oriented Londoners are unquestionably the professors of pop and the dance floor. With guests We Are Wolves, this party won’t only rock but it’s also for a good cause. A portion of the proceeds will go to Virgin Unite and the RE*Generation Movement to support at-risk and homeless youth in Canada. Good karma, Virgin!
