Montreal Halloween Guide 2012

FRIDAY
Get your Halloween started with a great cause! Tonight we celebrate the second edition of the Starlight Halloween Soiree, presented by La Clinique A, to raise funds for an important and incredible foundation. Over 300 young Montreal professionals will gather under the beautiful grand chandeliers of the Loft Hotel to celebrate Halloween and to help make a difference in the lives of these special children. Guests will make a grand entrance on the red carpet and plunge into a world of make believe and be whoever they want to be, where their only limit is their own imagination. Once the guests enter the Loft Hotel, they will enjoy a decadent candy and cocktail bar (open bar service) while dancing to an amazing DJ. Get your charity costumes on!

Cirque De Boudoirs presents “A Night to Dismember.” Taking place at the ultra-cool The Darling Foundry, this large space boasting an immaculate industrial feel sets the tone for a killer night to remember. Featuring custom horror decor by Remy Couture, great DJs and scary visual scenery by Bunnyguts, Sexy & Scary performances and prizes for your best get-up! For inspiration, this year’s theme is Iconic Villains & Victims from Modern Horror Movie Classics – think Michael Myers from Halloween.

Bollywood comes to Montreal. Time Supper Club is proudly presenting the biggest Bollywood Event for Halloween – “Bollyween” with non-stop entertainment at its best. SUNDAY
One of our favorite Halloween events is Fright Fest at la Ronde. Montreal’s main theme park morphs into a truly scary venue with its different activity zones. The traditional, ever-popular Haunted House will be back to scare the living pants off visitors amongst other attractions like the Vampire Den, Death Row and Terror Carnival; we recommend only the bravest at heart to enter this skin-raising fright carnival.

MONDAY
The Rocky Horror Picture Show Halloween Ball is back and allowing you to make a complete spectacle of yourself. It’s the only event in Montreal featuring the original film on the big screen and turning into a totally silly interactive fun-fest of epic proportions. Check out their site for ideas on what to bring and what to expect.

The Halloween Special Ghost Hunt is sure to put you in the mood for the Celebration of the Dead. With great festive spirit, the participants, some of whom will be in disguise for the occasion, invade the streets of Old Montreal. Whether alone or in a group, experiencing the Halloween Ghost Hunt will be one of the highlights of the year. With your group of friends, join in the hunt for some ghosts and hear their frightful stories. In teams, you will be given a map of the local area, then off to the hunt, searching for the heroes and villains of Old Montreal. Each Fantome along the way will tell you the story of their life and death…creepy!

Max Harry Productions presents Fashion For Love II – The Lingerie Edition by GlobLove taking place at the W Hotel. Bringing some fashion flavour into the Halloween spirit; the second edition of Fashion For Love Fundraiser for the Farha Foundation is back with a bolder flavour than ever! Fashion for Love will give the public the opportunity to view Montreal’s GlobLove lingerie collection amongst a special surprise presentation for men as well. A beautiful Masquerade Ball follows right after the show, make sure you stick around and bring your best mask forward.

Rosalies and MOET & CHANDON present “Le Moulin Rouge,” the living dead edition.
This is said to be one Montreal’s most majestic Halloween events. Hosted by superstar and fashion’s newest icon, Zombie Boy Rick Genest, with music by DJ ZO & Spade, no detail will be spared or overlooked at this party. Expect the unexpected and a fabulous crowd as always provided by Stevie B.Hamron and Brachms Yaiche.

Ever dreamed of being a rock star or at least looking like one? Here is your chance. Veuve Clicquot presents “Yelloween” at L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel. With its second edition, the theme for tonight’s party is “Rock Star” – that means bring out your best bandannas, leather pants, cut-off tees and teased hair and get ready to rock-out to DJ Puppa Sasha. Hosted by some of Montreal and Notable’s friends like Josh Silver, Billy Alfonso, Fabio and others, this will bring the biggest partiers under one roof. Hope you can call into work late tomorrow…
