Michael Bublé’s Three-Year-Old Son is Battling Cancer

There’s some sad news in the world of Canadian crooner Michael Bublé.

Noah, the singer’s three-year-old son with wife Luisana Lopilato, has been diagnosed with cancer after an unexpected trip to the doctor.

Noah is the eldest son of the couple, who also have a nine-month-old boy named Elias.

The couple travelled to the U.S. with the little boy when concerns emerged about his health. The doctors originally thought he had a case of the mumps.

This morning, Bublé posted a statement on Luisana’s Facebook:

“We are devastated by the recent cancer diagnosis of our eldest son Noah who is currently in treatment in the United States,” it reads.

Both Bublé and Lopilato – a model and actress – have put work commitments on hold to focus on “helping Noah get well.”

“At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy,” writes Bublé.

“We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

Here’s to wishing the little guy a speedy recovery and to one day, kicking cancer in the ass for good.
