Martin Shkreli is Auctioning Off the Chance to Punch Him in the Face

Yes, you read that headline correctly.

You could actually get the glorious opportunity to hit infamous pharma-douche Martin Shkreli right in the kisser.

Dubbed “the most hated man in America” after he hiked up the price of a life-saving drug by over 5,000 per cent, many people have expressed the desire to punch the little maggot in the face.

After all, this is a man who appeared in front of a House committee on the price increase and refused to answer questions.

Instead, he sat there with this look on his face:

He’s pretty much the worse. And if anybody could be described as having a punchable face, it’s him.

“I will auction one slap/punch in the face to benefit my friend Mike who passed away & leaves behind a young son who survived cancer,” Shkreli announced in a tweet.

While it seems like the money will be going to a good cause, considering Shkreli’s track record we’re hard-pressed to believe he’s actually made such a drastic change of character. Also, he’s also been accused of fraud, so there’s that.

Lastly, let us remind you that this is also the man who purchased the lone copy of the Wu-Tang Clan’s most recent album, and then when asked whether he would share it with the general public, said this:

“It depends. It depends on the world. I can see myself in a world where I break it, and I’ve seriously considered that. Snap it in half and bury the remains so no one tries to reconstruct it. I’ve seen a world where I give it away for free and I’ve seen a world where I charge for it. If people want to hear it, I’ll put it out. If they don’t want to hear it, if they don’t appreciate the Wu-Tang for what I think it is, that’s fine too.”

This guy definitely deserves what’s coming to him.

Now, before you put money down, know that you can make a bid on behalf of another party, like Mike Tyson as one Twitter user proposed. Also, know that having the highest bid doesn’t automatically mean you get to hit him, but it would give you a very good chance. If you donate to the site, you are entered into a raffle with the number of dollars you give equalling the number of tickets you get.

You would also have to spend a fortune for the chance to slap Shkreli silly. As of Monday afternoon, the two highest bids were for $78,000 and $25,000.

Still, the steep price tag may just be worth it to see Shkreli get the karma he deserves.
