Prince Rogers Nelson, aka Prince, aka The Artist Formerly Known as Prince, aka The Last Greatest Living Performer, left us with an iconic trove of song and dance before his untimely passing last week. Not to mention a few facts we simply never knew about the ‘royal’ singer.
He also left us with a pretty fantastic piece of real estate.
A mansion in Toronto’s ritzy Bridle Path that was once home to the pop star is currently on the market for $12.7 million. Prince owned the property for about five years while he was married to Torontonian Manuela Testolini between 2001 and 2006.
It was during this time that he also recorded one of his most successful albums, Musicology.
The home boasts everything you’d expect of a Bridle Path address: floor-to-ceiling windows, tennis court, swimming pool, and a three-piece en-suit kitchen for all the starfish and coffee your heart desires over 14,280 square feet of living space.
Compared to other properties in the area, the house probably isn’t worth anywhere close to $12.7 million – but that’s the price you pay to live in a place you can call someone “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World” and have it actually mean something.
