L’Gros Luxe Will Open its 3rd Montreal Location in Little Burgundy

Foodies take note.

L’Gros Luxe Will Open its third Montreal Location in Little Burgundy.

Out with the old and in with the new.

Little Burgundy’s Mexican go-to spot Limon (2472 Notre-Dame Street West) is closing its doors and welcoming a new breed of restaurant.

Enter L’Gros Luxe.

The new location is set to open around the end of May and will have 100 seating places inside, as well as 2 terraces (40 seating places on one and 20 on the other). The restaurant will have a private section that can welcome 25 people for groups, events, or an epic birthday soiree.

“I am really proud to find myself in this neighborhood amongst pioneers like Joe Beef and Burgundy Lion, as well as institutions like Dilallo Burger and Théâtre Corona, which all contributed to the Sud-Ouest growth. ” Alex Bastide says, owner of Gros Luxe.

For the fans of the two other Montreal L?Gros Luxe spots (located in the Mile-End and Plateau Mont-Royal), this Notre-Dame West location will remind its patrons of the feel and look of its two “big brothers.”

The goal, however, is to offer a unique experience at each location.

The menu is adapted to the local clientele and nearly 70 per cent of the dishes on the menu are vegetarian or can be modified in such way – great news for the non-meaties out there.

With this newest addition, it’s clear that the Griffintown to St.Henri foodie movement is nowhere near slowing down.
