Right on time for the holidays, the fabulous designer Lauren Bagliore will be opening the doors to her new Calgary shop (917 11th Street SE). And since there’s no denying that Calgary is a long way from being the Big Apple, we can take comfort in the fact that we now have a new high-end hot spot to find our signature pieces.
While we’re not getting a hipster NY bookstore like The Strand or a fancy-schmancy bagel shop, this boutique is going to be something much better.
Focused on evolving her collections into a lifestyle brand, this trendy designer is excited about serving Calgary clientele and helping young professional find their own signature style.
Inspired by her Italian roots and the art and architecture around her, Bagliore first made waves when she went to work for Vivienne Westwood fresh out of fashion school.

Upon returning to New York several years later, she then went on to work for the likes of Zac Posen before taking her talent and deciding to style on her own terms.
For newcomers to Lauren Bagliore, you’ll have the chance to see her latest 2014 collection that will showcase limited edition ready-to-wear pieces that will give any wardrobe a fresh look.
Known for making edgier, asymmetrical pieces, this is the place to look for something before holiday parties get into full swing.
Her new boutique will sit in proximity to the new Nash restaurant and Off Cut Bar, also scheduled to open this month. Opening with the Inglewood Christmas Market, you can stop by the boutique this Friday to take in the full designer experience.
