Do you know where you got your drive from?
My drive definitely comes from my mother. She has always been able to do it all without batting an eye, and I grew up with that being the norm. It’s safe to say it is just part of who I am.

How do you stay self-motivated?
I am naturally a very competitive person, and doing better – both personally and professionally – is something I always strive for. Having specific goals in fitness keeps me motivated and competitive with myself, and knowing that I have competition in business keeps me motivated to move forward and push the limits, professionally.

What would you say is your preferred way to network?
If you’re doing it right, you’re always networking. I like to think of every opportunity in life as an opportunity to network and make a new connection. The one thing I aim for in any networking situation is keeping it organic and keeping it real.

How would you describe your process for deepening relationships?
Relationship building is an integral part of business and life. Just like networking, you must be genuine and organic or it won’t work. Creating opportunities to work together for reasons that benefit both parties is the best way to deepen any relationship.

What are your preferred tools for keeping organized?

The standard google calendar and a detailed multi-folder filing system are my go-tos. Organization is something I have always been a little OCD over, so for me it’s effortless and at times – a little overly satisfying.

What is your favourite way to market your product or services?

My favourite way is through a personal conversation and word of mouth. It’s not necessarily the most effective in terms of exposure and reach, but I like seeing the reaction from people firsthand when they learn about who and what we are.

Who has been your mentor in helping you find success?

I can honestly say I don’t have one defining mentor. I define success in more areas than just business and because of that, I look up to different people for different reasons.

What social issue does your organization raise funds and/or awareness for?

CAMH and mental health – I have always felt that mental health and physical fitness go hand in hand. That is part of the reason why I host free fitness events for people in the WHISTLE app community. I want to provide the opportunity for people to stay active and feel that sense of community no matter what. We also have an upcoming event on April 29th in collaboration with F45 Liberty Village & Myodetox with all proceeds going to CAMH.

How and where do you continue to learn?

I am constantly learning new things about life, business and fitness. Whether it be a lesson I take from a personal experience, a new way of doing business, or a different workout – the learning never ends.

Do you have a fitness ritual that you live by?
If there is any ritual I follow, it would simply be to get sweaty. If it makes me sweat and forces me to push my limits, I’m happy.

How do you feed your soul?
Living an active healthy lifestyle and making delicious meals are the two things that feed my soul. There is nothing better than feeling good and knowing that you are improving yourself each day, both internally and externally.

How would you describe the eating ritual that makes you feel most powerful?

This would have to be my morning shake – I basically have the same thing for breakfast each day and I love it. It is effortless, and I know I’m getting all the nutrients I need to start the day off right.

Who is your favourite personality to follow on YouTube?

Beverley Cheng. She posts great workout videos on both Instagram and YouTube.

What type of content do you find most compelling on Instagram?

Content that is real and has something that I can take away from it – whether it’s a fitness video or home decor post, I want to see something that I can build from.

What lifestyle brand would you say shares your values most?

good hYOUman – their clothing is comfortable, functional, and each piece has a unique inspirational message.

What is your favourite sport to watch?

Hands down baseball – I’m a huge Jays fan.

Where is your favourite place to unwind?
