Style Icon Justin Trudeau Makes Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed List

One of this year’s additions to Vanity Fair’s international best-dressed list is none other than our beloved Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joins a well-curated list of musicians, politicians, actors, media figures and descendants of royalty named for their fashion sense in the magazine’s September issue.

The list also includes Trudeau’s new friend Barack Obama, Helen Mirren and Queen Elizabeth II.

Some of Trudeau’s best looks are featured in an online slideshow that accompanies the post. He shares his favourite items of clothing, “a well-worn pair of jeans, my father’s homemade native-buckskin fringe jacket,” and calls “colourful socks” his favourite accessory.

He also says he used to wear capes but that they disappeared around the time his wife entered his life.

Personally, I feel Canadian designer-loving Sophie Trudeau should have made the list as well – but there’s always next year.
