A trip to a foreign land is a revelation: stories of courage, hope and struggle emerge that often never make it into print. The first-ever Journeys to the Edge photo narrative will take you on an odyssey to Soweto, South Africa to meet the people at the centre of the HIV-AIDS pandemic. You’ll also experience Colombia and the capital of Bogotá, a city of churches, flowers and a violent past, Cartagena, a coastal city whose residents are mad about beauty pageants, and to the Amazon, where indigenous leaders gather to discuss their concerns over Canadian mining companies.
