In case you’ve been living under a rock (or, simply enjoying an unconnected summer), after 16 years as host, Jon Stewart will move on from The Daily Show next week.
Last night, he announced his final three guests: Amy Schumer, Denis Leary, and Louis C.K. Apparently, all three are his close friends, which will make any prep work pretty simple.
“Remember, next week is our last week,” Stewart reminded his audience last night. “We’re going to have a ball, and I can’t wait to show my appreciation at all the support and enthusiasm that you guys have given the show all these years.”
The last episode goes down on Thursday, August 6. The 50-minute episode promises to be filled with surprises. We’re hoping one of them will be Stephen Colbert.
