JFK Is Building a Luxury Terminal for Pets That Is Nicer than Most Airports

Yes, this is real.

Your pets are about to become more pampered and spoiled than you during their jet-setting travels.

A 178,000-square-foot, $48 million private facility called The ARK will be handling over 70,000 animals flying in and out of JFK.

The ARK will be able to accommodate any type of animal including cats, dogs, horses, sloths and even penguins. Yes we said penguins.

The facility will be truly impressive, featuring climate-controlled stalls for horses and cows, webcams so owners can monitor their pets every move, hotel suites with flat-screen TVs and human-size beds for the smaller pets and more.

Things will get even more luxurious thanks to Paradise 4 Paws who will be operating a 20,000-square-foot pet resort that will offer massage therapy, a bone-shaped swimming pool, pawdicures, an adventure jungle for cats and other fancy things for those loyal buddies of ours.

The ARK is set to open next year at New York’s JFK Airport.

Meanwhile, good luck finding a decent WiFi connection and a comfortable chair in the human terminal.
