Just For Laughs is getting a whole lot juicier tonight – or should we say, a lot more White Russian.
Filmmaker Jason Reitman has been working on the cast for the live read of the classic Coen brothers cult film “The Big Lebowski” and the result is nothing short of star-studded.
Some may call it luck with X-Men: Apocalypse currently shooting in our fair city, but whatever the reason, Jason managed to assemble some of the biggest names in the film industry to grace us with their reading skills tonight at the Metropolis.
Michael Fassbender will play the role of ‘The Dude’ as done by Jeff Bridges, while Jennifer Lawrence will be Julianne Moore’s Maude Lebowski.
Other familiar faces will include Olivia Munn who will play Bunny Lebowski, T.J. Miller of HBO’s Silicon Valley will take on Brandt, Mike Judge as The Stranger, and Martin Starr will be Jesus.
Obviously as soon as word got out tickets went quicker than you could say “Nobody f*cks with the Jesus.”
