It’s Gold Jerry: A Seinfeld Pop-Up Bar is Coming to Toronto This Summer

Seinfeld continues to live on – and not just through re-runs.

Come summer (and lasting all summer long), Toronto will get its very own Seinfeld pop-up bar.

That’s right; you can have Festivus in July this year an accurately recreated, full service Monk’s Diner (currently Tom’s Restaurant). The Seinfeld Pop-up bar will be open nightly, with weekly events like Seinfeld karaoke, trivia, and – best of all – costume contests.

No word yet on whether there will be stand-up comedy, but we can hope.

The pop-up launches with a party on July 15, where guests are free to bust some Elaine-inspired dance moves and party like it’s the mid-90s (and in costume). You can expect Seinfeld-worthy eats like Kenny Rogers Chicken, calzoes, No Soup For You, big salads, sexy pastramis, marble rye sandwiches, chocolate babka, and muffin tops, just to name a few.

Oh, and no shortage of Seinfeld references, naturally (so you may want to brush up on your knowledge). ‘Cause *feels desperately old* the iconic show did end 18 years ago…
