Harbourfront’s Hot and Spicy Food Festival is back, and while we don’t love the fact that we have to carry Tums (Tu-tu-tu-TUMS, sorry, we couldn’t help it) in our back pocket, we love this Toronto Labour Day weekend event. Packed with the best in spicy culinary exploits, this free indoor/outdoor fest at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre showcases some of Toronto’s top chefs and food vendors serving up dishes that are muy caliente. On Friday through Monday, the Hot and Spicy Food Festival will have live entertainment, a live Iron Chef competition, an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for BBQing, the Red Hot Market, the ultimate burger battle, and so much more. You definitely need to check out the full calendar of events and head on down to the waterfront for some hot, hot excitement.
