Hit the Festival of Beer Tonight to Support Victims of the Danforth Tragedy

Aside from the beer of all varieties, you have another very good reason to hit Toronto’s Festival of Beer tonight.

Toronto’s hot ticket Festival of Beer – presented by the Beer Store and Canadian group Broken Social Scene – just announced that it is raising funds for the individuals and families affected by this week’s tragic Danforth shooting with a new special ticket.

As part of their #TorontoStrong fundraiser, Toronto’s Festival of Beer will donate 100 per cent of the proceeds raised from the #TorontoStrong Special Ticket Offer to the cause. This ticket offers general admission access for tonight for just $25 + HST and includes no service fees.

In addition to all the beer your heart desires – 416 brews in total, to be exact – the Thursday night event will feature music from Broken Social Scene, The Rural Alberta Advantage, and The Darcys and some seriously good (diet breaking-worthy) eats. You can expect to soak up all the brews with gourmet grub from establishments like La Palma, Oyster Boy, Campagnolo, Melt Grilled Cheese, Brando Fried Chicken, ONO Poké Bar, Fidel Gastro’s, and Jerk Brothers, to name a few.

The event takes place tonight at Bandshell Park, Exhibition Place from 5 pm to 11 pm. If you can’t make it this evening, the festival runs all weekend long and will feature performances from Ludacris (Friday), Dwayne Gretzky (Saturday), and I Mother Earth and Finger Eleven (Sunday).

Cheers to coming together for the love of  #TorontoStrong.
